[ 4th Year ] |
LECTURER: Anna Maria Psarra |
CONTENT- Aim of the course |
Recent advances in basic science and especially in biochemistry and molecular biology were based in the development of new methodologies and techniques. This course introduces experimental techniques that are broadly used in every biochemical laboratory. The primary goal is the understanding of the theoretical background of many methods that are applied in biochemistry and molecular biology and the design and execution of experimental protocols. In addition, based on oral presentations, the students are introduced to techniques like DNA arrays, Flow cytometry analysis, Proteomic analysis, Bioimaging and bio-molecular interaction analysis. |
